Every patient’s journey at Summit Physical Therapy begins with a comprehensive evaluation. During this one-on-one session, Jennell takes the time to understand your health history, current concerns, and personal goals. We’ll assess your strength, mobility, posture, and movement patterns to get a complete picture of your needs.
From there, we create a customized treatment plan tailored specifically to you, whether that means targeted exercises, hands-on therapy, or strategies to prevent future issues. Our goal is not just to treat symptoms, but to address the root causes and set you up for long-term success.
What to expect in your evaluation:
A detailed conversation about your medical history, lifestyle, and goals
A full physical assessment (strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility testing)
Clear explanation of findings in everyday language
A personalized treatment plan you can start right away
Each one-hour session at Summit Physical Therapy is designed to maximize progress and keep you moving toward recovery. Sessions are one-on-one with Jennell, giving you dedicated attention and a treatment plan that adapts as you improve.
Depending on your needs, a session may include:
Guided therapeutic exercises to restore strength and flexibility
Hands-on manual therapy to relieve pain and improve mobility
Education on movement strategies, posture, and injury prevention
Progress check-ins and adjustments to your personalized plan
Every visit builds on the last, ensuring steady progress toward stronger movement, less pain, and lasting results.
Dry needling is a specialized therapy that uses thin, sterile needles to release tight bands of muscle and trigger points. Unlike acupuncture, which is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, dry needling is based on modern anatomy and physiology.
This treatment helps:
Reduce muscle tension and pain
Improve blood flow and healing in targeted areas
Restore mobility and range of motion
Accelerate recovery from injury or overuse
At Summit Physical Therapy, dry needling is always performed by a licensed physical therapist trained in the technique. It’s a safe, effective option that can be combined with other therapies to speed recovery and get you moving comfortably again.
